TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) — Police in Ohio say a shooting outside a home has killed a 16-year-old girl and injured another person.
Toledo police say they responded to a report of a person shot around 3:30 p.m. Monday in a neighborhood on the city’s east side. They say they found 16-year-old Alexia Carey shot and another person grazed by a bullet. Carey was taken to a hospital, where she died from her injuries.
Authorities say the person who was grazed by a bullet will recover.
