A Sturgis, Michigan man is facing misdemeanor charges of possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia after being pulled over on the Indiana Toll Road early Friday morning.
According to the Indiana State Police, a trooper spotted a Cadillac break several traffic laws and almost hit an abandoned vehicle parked on the right berm about four miles west of the Howe /LaGrange exit in LaGrange County just before 1 a.m.
While speaking to the driver, the trooper could smell the odor of raw marijuana. A search turned up 100 grams or about 3 and a half ounces of marijuana along with drug paraphernalia.
Johnathon Hulley, 39, was arrested and taken to the LaGrange County Jail.
