FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) -Police are trying to figure out what lead up to a man being taken to a hospital after he was found with multiple cuts on his face and arm.
Officers were called to the 1100 block of Glasgow Avenue around 2:20 Tuesday morning. Investigators said the the people at the home did not provide any information about what happened. While interviewing one of the witnesses, a man walked down from an upstairs bedroom.
They noticed the victim’s left jaw appeared to have been cut and he was applying pressure to a wound on his left arm. Medics took the man to a hospital in serious condition.
Officers later found a knife in the dining room area with what appeared to be “smudges” of blood on it. Police detained a person of interest to interview him or her to figure out what happened.
The incident is under investigation.
