The driver of a pickup truck was pulled over Sunday evening in LaGrange County for having a broken tail light. He’s now facing an OWI charge.
According to the LaGrange County Sheriff’s Departmenbnt, the traffic stop took place at 8:37 p.m. at 8200 N 1150 W, Shipshewana.
Police determined the driver, Nicholas Leroy Meek, 23, of LaGrange had been drinking.
He was arrested and booked into the LaGrange County Jail on a charge of Operating While Intoxicated, Endangering a Person.
