FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) After much anticipation, the Ash Skyline Plaza is nearly complete. Construction crews are expected to turn over keys to the building at the end of the month, Ash Brokerage Brand Marketing Director Norma Endersby said.
Employees should start moving in mid-May, or as soon as furniture is in place, Endersby said.
Street-level businesses include: DeBrand Fine Chocolates, upscale restaurant The Golden, Lake City Bank, Skyline YMCA, Fort Wayne Outfitters Bike Hub, Parkview TherapyONE, and boutique The Find. Sixth-level businesses include Barnes & Thornburg, LLP, and DuChame, McMillen & Associates, Inc.
The parking garage is also part of the building.
The next phase in the Ash Skyline project is expected to begin late this summer.
Great Lakes Capital is expected to complete Skyline Tower, the residential part of the major downtown project, by early 2018. Skyline Tower will have 10 floors of residential space, featuring 124 apartments along with retail and office spaces. Upscale steakhouse Ruth’s Chris filled the final commercial space available for the development, the city announced in February.
Ash Brokerage and city leaders broke ground on the development project in June of 2014.
