FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Snider’s Jack James banged home a 23-yard field goal with 7 seconds left to lift Snider over Bishop Dwenger and earn your Highlight Zone “Play of the Week” for week eight.

The 34-31 win clinched the SAC victory bell for the Panthers, who improve to 8-0 on the season. James also hit a 41-yard field goal earlier in the fourth quarter.

WEEK 7: Breeon Burgess found paydirt with 48.3 seconds left to lift Central Noble over previously unbeaten Churubusco 19-17 Friday night at Cougar Field to earn the Highlight Zone Play of the Week!

Burgess also scored in the third quarter to cut the Busco lead to 17-13. Central Noble is now 6-1 on the season and 3-0 in NECC small division play. They can clinch the conference title outright next week with a win over Eastside.

WEEK 6: We couldn’t decide who did it better – Woodlan’s Amarion Hicks or Carroll’s Nathan Harrah – so we tipped a cap to both in this week’s Highlight Zone Play of the Week!

WEEK 5: Jack Tranquill led a host of Chargers as Carroll’s defensive stand in the final seconds near the goal line sealed a 28-24 win over Bishop Dwenger.

WEEK 4: New Haven’s Kentrel Thomas hauled in a one-handed reception to spark a Bulldogs rally in the fourth quarter as the Dogs went on to defeat Leo 35-33 in overtime.

In a play New Haven coach Jim Rowland called the key play of the game Thomas’ grab came when the Bulldogs trailed 27-14. Later on the drive James Gardner would score, cutting the Leo lead to 27-21 to spring-board the comeback.

WEEK 3: Columbia City receiver Max Bedwell completed a pass to quarterback Jacob Bolt for a two-point conversion on a trick play with 1:14 left on the clock as to earn Columbia City a 14-13 win at rival Bellmont in week three!

The Eagles trailed 13-0 in the fourth before rallying for the win. Bolt’s TD pass to Noah Judd cut the lead to 13-12 with Bedwell’s conversion winning it for the Eagles.

WEEK 2: Eastside’s Aaron Dean went completely horizontal to come up with a 29-yard touchdown catch – and your Highlight Zone “Play of the Week” in week two!

Dean’s TD grab helped Eastside knock off 1A no. 3 Adams Central 28-7 in Butler!

WEEK 1: Jordan Presley made quite an impression in his first game in a Bishop Luers uniform – and his 81-yard scamper for a score was something to behold. Presley wound up with 288 total yards of offense and three scores to lead Bishop Luers to a 34-19 win over Carroll.
