Rockefeller Center Christmas tree cut down in Maryland

ROCKEFELLER CENTER TREE: New York City’s 2021 Rockefeller Center Christmas tree was chopped down on Thursday (11/11) in Elkton, Maryland. It’s the first time the iconic tree has come from Maryland. The 79-foot-tall, 12-ton Norway Spruce is scheduled to arrive at Rockefeller Center on Nov. 13, ahead of the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 1.
