Heralded freshman Amelia White scored just 2:42 into her high school debut as 3A no. 5 Homestead blanked 2A no. 16 Concordia 3-0 at Pat Teagarden Field to headline area prep soccer action on Thursday night.
White wasn’t done after her first goal. In the 8th minute she wove through the Concordia defense and found teammate Jessica Tanzler for a goal and a 2-0 lead.
Samantha Castaneda earned the shutout for Homestead.
