INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WANE) – For the first time this season, East Noble couldn’t find the endzone.

Also for the first time this year, the Knights lose a game as they fall in the Class 4A state championship against Evansville Memorial. East Noble is defeated, 21-3.

East Noble came in averaging 36.1 points but Joe Painter’s 27-yard field goal late in the second quarter was all the scoring the Knights would be able to muster against a defense that EN head coach Luke Amstutz called the best secondary he’s ever coached against.

They finish the year, 14-1. After the game senior Bailey Parker was named the Mental Attitude Award winner for 4A.
