The Carroll girls cross country team heads to the state meet this Saturday ranked no. 1 in the state while the Carroll boys will be represented by Cole Powers.

The Carroll boys won state in 2016 and took home the regional title two weeks ago. Powers finished seventh at semi-state last week as the only Charger to qualify for state this weekend.

The Carroll girls swept sectionals, regionals, and semi-state.

The girls race is set for 1 p.m. in Terre Haute on Saturday with the boys race to follow at 1:45 p.m.
