The Marshall Tucker Band to perform at Sweetwater in August

The Marshall Tucker Band is set to perform at the Sweetwater Performance Pavilion on Saturday, August 11, at 7:00 p.m.

Hannah Wicklund and The Steppin Stones will open the show. 

Tickets will go on sale Friday, April 13 at 10:00 a.m. and can be purchased at two Fort Wayne area record stores including Neat Neat Neat Music and Records at 1836 S. Calhoun Street and at Wooden Nickel at 3627 N. Clinton Street. Tickets can also be purchased by phone at (800) 514-3849 and online via ETix.com.

The Marshall Tucker Band got its start in the early 1970s and while many of the members have changed, the original lead singer and founder, Doug Gray remains.

The band is widely known for the hit singles “Heard it in a Love Song,” “Fire on the Mountain,” “Can’t You See” and “Take the Highway.” 

The Sweetwater Performance Pavilion is a covered outdoor music venue, located on the south end of the Sweetwater campus in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Features of the venue include: custom-designed, state-of-the-art sound system, free on-site parking, air-conditioned on-site restrooms and food, soft drinks, bear and wine available for purchase.
 
The Sweetwater Performance Pavilion is located at 5501 US Highway 30 West in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
