LOS ANGELES, Calif. (CBSLA.com) — Hundreds of pet lovers visited historic Olvera Street is Los Angeles this weekend for the annual “Blessing of the Animals.”
Archbishop José H. Gomez sprinkled holy water on a number of animals including cats, dogs and rabbits.
An Easter mass was also held Saturday night at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels.
