GENERAL CONTEST OFFICIAL RULES

These rules apply to all contests conducted by WANE-TV or WANE.com (“Station”), unless otherwise set forth in specific contest rules for a particular contest. Specific contest rules will be available at the Station studio at 2915 W. State Blvd., Fort Wayne, IN 46808 and on the Station’s website at WWW.WANE.COM .
1. HOW TO ENTER

a. To participate in contests, you may enter via web page, WANE.com and click on More and then Contests and Deals. Incomplete entries will not be eligible to win.

b. “The Station is not responsible for telephone service outages, delays, busy signals, equipment malfunctions and any other technological difficulties that may prevent an individual from completing his/her entry.” “The Station is not responsible for Internet transmission errors, illegible entries, service outages, delays, busy signals, equipment malfunctions and any other technological difficulties that may prevent transmitting his/her entry.”

c. Limit one entry per person. Duplicate entries not eligible.

2. ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS

a. The contest is open to legal residents of U.S. who are 18 years or older at the time of entry, who are residents of the U.S.who are 18 years or older at the time of entry, who are residents of WANE-TV viewing areas of Steuben, Noble, Dekalb, Whitley, Allen, Wabash, Huntington, Wells, Adams and Jay counties in Indiana and Paulding and Van Wert counties in Ohio. Employees of WANE-TV (the “Station”), its licensee, its corporate parents, subsidiaries, and affiliates, its advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, (and members of the immediate families or households of each), of the Sponsor and WANE-TV and each of their respective affiliated companies, subsidiaries, distributors, printers and advertising and promotion agencies, and any and all other companies associated with this contest, are not eligible to participate. Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.

b. Only one winner per household is permitted in any Station contest. Viewers are eligible to win a WANE-TV or WANE.com contest only once every thirty (30) days.

3. PRIZES

a. Each contest will have different numbers of winners and prize amounts. The winners are to receive a prize selected and provided by Sponsor. Restrictions and expiration dates may apply.

b. All prizes or prize certificates may be picked up at the Station studio during regular lobby hours, M-F, 830am-5pm, located at 2915 W. State Blvd., Fort Wayne, IN 46808. Winner must show a valid government-issued driver’s license or photo identification before receiving prize. The winner will forfeit any prize or prize certificate not claimed within thirty (30) days after notification and acceptance of prize or by defined date for time sensitive prizes.

c. There is no substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent for prizes, except that the Station may, at its sole discretion, substitute prizes of comparable value or cash. The prizes are expressly limited to the item(s) listed above and do not include taxes, gratuities or any other expenses. Other restrictions may apply.

ii. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION

a. Decisions of the Station management with respect to the contest are final.

b. Prize winner or winners to be selected by the Sponsor and/or Station from the eligible contest entries. The prize winner or winners will be contacted by the Sponsor and/or Station. There will be only one winner per household.

c. Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received.

d. Winners list will be available at www.WANE.com or by request to WANE-TV Winners List (specific contest name) at 2915 W. State. Blvd., Fort Wayne, IN 46808. Winner or winners may be required to complete an Affidavit of Eligibility and/or Release of Liability Prize Acceptance Form before receiving prize. If a potential winner cannot be contacted, fails to sign and return the required affidavit of eligibility and/or liability/publicity release within the required time period, or if a prize notification is returned as undeliverable, potential winner forfeits prize and an alternate winner may be chosen by random drawing.

4. CONDITIONS

a. Payments of all federal, state and local taxes are solely the responsibility of the winners. Winners may be required to sign an IRS Form W-9 or the equivalent.

b. By participating in the contest, participants agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest without additional financial or other compensation, and, where legal, to sign a publicity release confirming such consent prior to acceptance of the prize. The Website’s Terms of Service apply to any online portions of this Contest.

c. Prior to awarding any prize or prize certificate, the Station in its sole discretion may require contest winners (and their travel companions, if any) to sign a liability release, agreeing to hold the Station, its corporate licensee, its parent, subsidiary and affiliated corporations, and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the contest.

d. The Station reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the contest, including the substitution of a prize or equivalent value, which will become effective upon announcement. “If due to circumstances beyond the control of the Station, any competition or prize-related event is delayed, rescheduled, postponed or cancelled, the Station reserves the right, but not the obligation, to cancel or modify the contest and shall not be required to award a substitute prize.”

e. Failure to comply with the contest rules or the Station’s website Terms of Service may result in an entrant’s disqualification solely at the discretion of the Station.

f. The Station is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest, or in the announcement of a prize.

g. Copies of the written contest rules and a list of winners (when complete) are available during regular lobby hours, M-F, 830a-5p, at the main studio of WANE-TV, 2915 W. State Blvd., Fort Wayne, IN 46808.
