Kelly Roberts is a reporter at NewsChannel 15. She joined the newsroom in May 2016.

After graduating from the Indiana University’s Ernie Pyle School of Journalism, Kelly started her news career with WXIN Fox 59 in Indianapolis. There, she woke up when others went to bed (or were already fast asleep) to help produce the station’s morning show. In June 2012 she went back to her hometown of Lafayette to join the team at WLFI and pursue her dream of becoming a reporter. There, she reported on local government and anchored the weekend 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. shows. She found herself in sunny Los Angeles in October 2015 working for tech start-ups. She’s happy now to be back in Indiana and in news!

In her spare time, Kelly likes to travel. Her adventures have taken her everywhere from Paris (a dozen times) to Iceland to Peru, and she has many more trips in the making. At home, she enjoys working-out, watching ‘The Office’ repeatedly on Netflix and hanging out with her cat, Custard.
