High-scoring Pitt guard Johnson transferring to Indiana University

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (WANE) – The Hoosiers added a premium point guard to their roster on Wednesday at former Pitt standout Xavier Johnson announced he would be transferring to Indiana.

As a junior this past season at Pitt Johnson averaged 14.2 points and 5.7 assists a game.

He put up 1,152 points in three seasons with the Panthers.
