Tony Sandleben

Tony joined the WANE 15 team in May of 2018. He spent five years at Ball State University studying journalistic storytelling and political science. During his time there, he was an active part of NewLink Indiana, BSU’s student run newscast, for all five years. He produced, anchored and reported for the show and also was news director of the program in 2017. From 2016 to 2018, Tony was a reporter for Indiana Public Radio, the National Public Radio member station in Muncie.

Originally from Fishers, Indiana, Tony is a proud Fishers High School Tiger. He was in choir there so naturally he enjoys spending his free time singing karaoke any chance he gets. Tony is an avid Star Wars, Colts, Reds and Purdue fan and is excited to become a part of the Fort Wayne community.
