In two games that proved to be polar opposites of each other, Carroll and East Noble advanced to face one another in the 4A Sectional 5 championship game.

Baseball sectional play began around the state on Wednesday, including in Huntington where Huntington North is hosting Sectional 5.

Monday was the start of the high school state softball tournament.  In 3A, Bishop Dwenger beat Angola, 9-1.

The Bishop Dwenger boys golf team claimed its 11th SAC team title in 12 years on Saturday afternoon.

They made it interesting, but Lakewood Park Christian - the No. 2 team in Class A - swept a doubleheader from Northrop on Saturday afternoon.
