ECHL MVP Shawn Szydlowski out for game three

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Tonight's game three against the Colorado Eagles in the Western Conference Finals is the Komets most important game of the season - and they'll go into it without their best player.

ECHL MVP Shawn Szydlowski has been placed on reserve after battling with a lower body injury. Phelix Martineau was also placed on reserve while forward Artur Tyanulin and Trevor Cheek have been activated for this game.

The Komets and Eagles drop the puck at 7:30 p.m. tonight at War Memorial Coliseum with the series tied at one game apiece.
