LA CROSSE, Wis. (KXAN) - Media personalities often receive critical emails, but a TV anchor in Wisconsin is standing up to one bullying her about her weight -- addressing the issue very publicly and even on the air.

"First, the truth is I am overweight," said WKBT News 8 This Morning Anchor Jennifer Livingston in a video posted on the station's YouTube channel. "You could call me fat and yes, even obese on a doctor's chart."

That is part of a four-minute editorial Livingston shared on the air days after a viewer said she was a poor role model and that "obesity is one of the worst choices a person can make."

She's gotten a lot of support and a lot of feedback. We want to hear what you have to say, and you can do that in the comments section below this story and on our Facebook page as well.

In addition, you can vote in our poll on whether this was the right thing for Livingston to do.
