EBay to ban sales of magic potions, spells

eBay is rolling out a long list of rule tweaks

NEW YORK (CNN) - If you're running low on wishes, you better stock up while you still can. EBay will ban the sale of magic services as part of a new policy update.

That means you can't buy blessings, you can't purchase prayers, and you can't spend your money on spells - at least, not on eBay.

EBay says it's trying to build trust in the marketplace.

Psychic readings and healing sessions are among the categories being shut down.

Spells and hexes aside, eBay is rolling out a long list of rule tweaks, as it does several times a year. For example, sellers will now be subject to a fee for ending an auction earlier than planned.
