AT FAULT: A South Korean government agency said that working at a Samsung factory caused the breast cancer of a worker who died earlier this year.
RARE DECISION: It's only the second time the Korea Workers' Compensation and Welfare Service has recognized a link between cancer and Samsung's chip plants. Nearly 30 South Koreans have filed claims that working at Samsung caused disease. Another dozen people with rejected claims have filed court appeals.
THE WORKER: The woman died in March at age 36. She worked for Samsung from 1995 to 2000. The agency said she was exposed to solvents and radiation.
