LONDON (CNN/WORLD VISION) - Making a fashion statement with Twitter.

British tabloid newspapers report British X-Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger wore this dress to a launch event for a new 4G mobile service, EE.

You can see various tweets scrolling across her waist.

According to the Daily Mail, the dress was made from the finest French silk chiffon.

It included more than 500 Swarovski crystals and more than 2,000 LED lights, which lit up to spell out the tweets.

They were sent in by fans in real time throughout the evening via @EE and #tweetthedress.
