KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (CNN) - A soccer goal is supposed to trap the ball, not passing animals in the neighborhood.
But that's exactly what happened at a school soccer field in Knoxville.
A young deer was caught in the goal Tuesday morning, entangled in the net. Thankfully, the lucky doe was saved by a couple of good Samaritans.
The two men spotted the trapped animal on the soccer field and immediately sprang into action, cutting the net to free the animal.
The doe wasted no time high-tailing it off of the field.
The rescuers says the deer looked fine and seemed uninjured by her ordeal.
