The folks behind StyleVisa share their love of travel with their customers by personally selecting their products – from handmade jewelry to household décor.

StyleVisa became a reality in 2011 for husband and wife team Eduardo Altamirano and Suki Mulberg Altamirano as their way to share a mutual love of travel and global aesthetic.
Eduardo and Suki.
Suki says she’s amazed at how this small passion project has grown over the last year, allowing them to meet and grow relationships with artists from all over the world.

“We really enjoy working with and getting to know the artisans and designers behind the products we carry. As StyleVisa grows, one of our goals is to continually add unique designs from new destinations, particularly those which may be traditionally overlooked,” said Suki.
As their love for travel has grown, so have their relationships with artisans around the world. Some designs originate as far away as Paris, Beirut, Stockholm, and Tokyo, while others are found in the states, from places like Seattle, Los Angeles, Portland, and New York City. They’ve recently just returned from Oaxaca, Mexico and have ab upcoming trip to New Orleans.
“Since we started StyleVisa, no matter where we’re traveling we’re always on the lookout for interesting designs that are local or indigenous to the area. When determining travel destinations, we lean towards places which reflect a strong sense of design, whether that be a well-known style capital of the world or simply a smaller, overlooked location with a distinct sense of heritage and craftsmanship,” said Suki.
