SPENCERVILLE, Ind. (WANE)--Crews in DeKalb County said Saturday evening's storm blew down a large tree that fell across a county road around 7:00 p.m.

The tree fell across County Road 68 in Spencerville and blocked traffic for several hours.  According to a DeKalb County sheriff's deputy, crews were waiting for a bigger chainsaw to be delivered to slice up the almost five-foot-wide tree.

Crews have since cleaned up enough of the mess to reopen the road.

A sheriff's deputy and witnesses said strong winds blew the tree over.  Some witnesses sent NewsChannel 15 photos using the Report!t feature.
