WANE received reports of trucks being blown over as a result of the high winds.  Viewers have also sent in other storm photos and video spotlighting the hail (dime, nickel and quarter-sized) that has come down across the area.

WANE's storm tracker vehicle was out and reported power poles down, and resulting power outages, on Airport Express Way between Ardmore and Smith roads. There is also standing water in the ditches with localized flooding.

The crew with the storm tracker vehicle also reported power outages neat the intersection of Smith and Engle.

As of 4:50 p.m., about 1,100 I&M customers were without power in Allen County.

AEP Ohio notified WANE at about 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday that there were outages in the Lima and Antwerp areas. AEP said 1,251 customers in the southeast and southwest quadrants of downtown Lima were experiencing outages and about 1,037 customers in the Antwerp area.

AEP Ohio said that if there is no storm damage in the area, affected customers should have power back within the hour.

Additional severe storms remain possible as the day continues.  We'll keep you updated here on wane.com and on NewsChannel 15 at 5 p.m., 6 p.m. and Nightcast at 11 p.m.
