The Midland All Hazards Weather Alert Radio comes preprogrammed to receive National Weather Service weather and hazard alert transmissions for all Specific Area Message Encoding Program Service codes (S.A.M.E. codes) within range.

But you can program your radio to only receive certain S.A.M.E. county codes. We've made it easy to determine your S.A.M.E. code. Just click on this link to print a list of S.A.M.E. codes for counties in northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio.
