FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) Northeast Indiana’s first Winter Blast of 2012 is expected to happen Thursday afternoon, and into Thursday night.

There is also a chance of gusty west winds.
According to Greg’s ‘Early Morning Video Forecast ,’ Kendallville and Warsaw should expect six inches of snowfall, with up to eight inches around LaGrange. There was a Winter Storm Warning issued for those areas.
Around Fort Wayne, Greg said to expect to see about four inches of snowfall, especially around the northern part of Allen County. South of Fort Wayne could also see about two to four inches of snow. A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for that area.
Greg also said an additional inch of snowfall could come Friday morning.
