Two grass fires in Huntertown, Allen County

HUNTERTOWN, Ind. (WANE) Huntertown firefighters fought two large grass fires on Wednesday. 

The first fire started around 1:30 p.m. on Dunton Road Between Hathaway Road and Gump Road. Crews were able to get the fire under control quickly but it took several hours for them to put out all of the hot spots.

A second fire started around 3 p.m. on Johnson Road. It was also brought under control quickly.

The cause of the fire is currently unknown.
