Photos: Storms hit the Area

The most recent U.S. Drought Monitor showed 89 percent of Indiana in at least moderate drought conditions, and 100 percent of Indiana is now at least abnormally dry.

The worst conditions are in the southwestern counties and much of northern Indiana between Lafayette and Fort Wayne which are considered to be experiencing extreme drought conditions.
