Woman in serious condition after crash

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - A woman was flown to the hospital in serious condition after a single-vehicle crash Thursday morning.
Police said the woman was driving west on Tillman Road around 7:45 a.m. when she went off the south side of the road. A witness said the car went into a ditch and rolled into a field.
According to police, the woman was trapped inside of the car for a short time. She was flown to the hospital in serious condition.
Police are unsure of why the woman went off the side of the road. The crash is under investigation.
