WHITLEY COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) - A woman died early Thursday morning following a two-car accident near the intersection of SR 205 and CR 300 E. in Whitley County.
Police said Rachel Anderson, 28, of Columbia City, was driving southwest on SR 205 at around 11:20 a.m. Wednesday morning, when she drove left of the centerline and sideswiped a trailer driven by Timmy High, 56, of Waterloo.
Anderson was flown to Parkview Regional Medical Center by Samaritan. Police said she was pronounced dead at around 1:15 a.m. Thursday.
Police said High was not injured in the accident.
The Indiana Department of Transportation has made it easy to check road conditions around the state.
