FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Police have identified the woman who died after being ejected from a car in the 6400 block of West Washington Center near O’Day Road.
The accident happened just after 3:30 Wednesday afternoon.
According to Fort Wayne Police, the vehicle flipped at least once, rolled several times and came to a rest upside down.
The Allen County Coroner's Office identified the victim was 41-year-old Rhonda Rider.
Police said Rider was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
The coroner determined the cause of her death as blunt force injury due to a motor vehicle crash.
This crash remains under investigation by the Allen County Sheriff’s Office, and the Allen County Coroner’s Office.
The coroner's office said Rider is the eighth fatality in 2013 from motor vehicle crashes in Allen County.
The Indiana Department of Transportation has made it easy to check road conditions around the state.
