NOBLE COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) - A juvenile was ejected from an SUV after the vehicle became airborne over a hill and then rolled several times before coming to a stop in a field.

Thursday evening around 6:30, a Noble County Sheriff's Department report said Ashley Adcox of Kendallville was driving an SUV at a high rate of speed near County Road 415 North and County Road 300 East, near Skinner Lake.

The report said as the vehicle approached a hill crest, it became airborne. Adcox then lost control of the vehicle as it made contact with the pavement. Adcox then hit the brakes and struck a culvert. The report said the vehicle became airborne a second time, rotated, and rolled several times before coming to a stop in a field.

A juvenile passenger was ejected from the vehicle. The juvenile, whose name and age have not been released, was transported by air ambulance to a Fort Wayne hospital.

A second passenger in the vehicle, Jerimiah Tackett, 21, Kendallville, was transported by ambulance to a hospital in Noble County. Adcox was transported by ambulance to a Fort Wayne hospital.

All three were listed in serious condition, according to the report. The extent of the injuries was not released.

The report said charges are pending for Adcox and Tackett.
