NOBLE COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) - One man was critically hurt and another had minor injuries after a crash in Noble County Saturday afternoon.
Police said a Corvette and pick-up truck were both going north on State Road 9 around 4 p.m. The pick-up truck was turning left onto County Road 850 North at the same time as the Corvette was trying to pass a string of vehicles.
The Corvette and pick-up truck collided and ended up with the with pick-up truck on top of the Corvette in a field. The vehicles caught on fire, but all the people got out before police arrived.
Teddy B. Martin, 21, of Ligonier was driving the Corvette. He had cuts to his face, arms and hand. Teddy T. Martin, 54, was the passenger in the Corvette. He went to a hospital in critical condition with several injuries.
Quinn Groff, 16, of Ligonier was driving the pick-up truck. Harley Beechy, 19, and Carter Schrock, 25, both of Millersburg, were passengers in the truck. No one in the truck was hurt.
The Indiana Department of Transportation has made it easy to check road conditions around the state.
