ANGOLA, Ind. (WANE) - The Steuben County Sheriff's Department investigated a single-car crash east of Angola Sunday night.
According to a department release, around 10 p.m., a vehicle driven by Barney Bryan, 56, Angola, was driving west on County Road 20 North near County Road 200 East.
The report said Bryan's vehicle left the road and hit a tree head-on.
Bryan's front-seat passenger, Marie Bolin, 80, Angola was transported to Camera Hospital in Angola for neck and chest pain. She was later transported to Parkview Regional in Fort Wayne.
Officers said both Bryan and Bolin were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
The report said dense fog was in the area, but did not specify if that was a factor in the crash.
The Indiana Department of Transportation has made it easy to check road conditions around the state.
