NOBLE COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) - The Noble County Sheriff's Department investigated a two vehicle crash in rural Noble County Wednesday evening.

According to a report, around 9:15 p.m., Tylor Calvin, 18, Wawaka, was traveling south on County Road 400 West at a high rate of speed. As he approached the intersection of County Road 900 North he was unable to stop, colliding with Oscar Dominguez, 37, Kendallville.

The collision forced both vehicles off the road, with Dominguez's pickup truck rolling at least once. Dominguez's truck and Calvin's Oldsmobile ended up in a drainage ditch; Calvin's vehicle about 250 feet from the road.

Calvin sustained cuts to his hands and arms and was treated at the scene by Noble County paramedics. Dominguez suffered a cut to his left arm and was transported by ambulance to a Noble County hospital.

The report said Calvin was arrested for reckless driving, speeding to fast to avoid a collision, and disregarding a stop sign.

Dominguez was cited for no driver's license.

The Indiana State Police, Noble County EMS, and Orange Township Fire Department assisted the Noble County Sheriff's Department with the accident investigation.
