Teen injured in DeKalb Co. ATV crash

DEKALB COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) A teenager driving an ATV is recovering after being hit by a car Wednesday afternoon.
Police said Christan Cordes was heading west on County Road 68 near Daisy Lane around 3:10 p.m. when an ATV driven by Taylor Kooistra, 16, pulled out in front of her.
Both vehicles came to rest in a field on the north side of County Road 68. Kooistra was taken to the hospital to be treated for a compound fracture to his lower right leg. Cordes wasn't hurt.
