Road rage incident ends in arrest on I-69

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) According to the Allen County Sheriff's Department Public Information Officer Jeremy Tinkel, there was an incident of road rage on Friday near the area of the Coldwater Rd. and Union Chapel.

Police recognized the suspected vehicle on I-69 shortly after 8:00 a.m.

The car was eventually pulled over just north of the 311 mile marker in the southbound lane. The southbound lanes of I-69 were closed for a short time.

According to the Sheriff's Department, police did find a gun in the car and the driver was arrested for not having a license for the gun.

The details of the road rage incident are not yet known.
