ADAMS COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) One person was declared dead at the scene of a single-car crash in Adams County, according to officials.
The Adams County Sheriff's Department said a 911 call was received around 6:08 a.m. on Thursday. Adams County Deputies, Preble Fire Department, and Adams County EMS were sent to the scene at CR 900 N near CR 550 W in Adams County, Indiana.
Officials determined that the driver lost control of the car west of CR 55 W. The car rolled several times and ejected the driver.
The driver, identified by the Adam's County Coroner's Office as 23-year-old Alexandria R. Pharr of Decatur, was declared dead at the scene. There was no one else in the car and no other cars were involved in the accident.
This incident is still under investigation at this time.
The Indiana Department of Transportation has made it easy to check road conditions around the state.
