COLUMBIA CITY, Ind. (WANE) - A 16-year-old girl was injured Friday night when a Zicron Go Kart turned on its side, pinning her arm between the vehicle and the ground.
Indiana Conservation Officers said Cecelia Rentschler, 15, of Columbia City, was driving the off-road vehicle on private property near 146 West 150 North in Columbia City, with Madison Cochran, 16, of Columbia City, as her passenger at around 7:30 p.m.
Rentschler turned the vehicle around but the go kart turned on its side, pinning Cochran's right arm between the vehicle and the ground.
Authorities said Cochran was taken to Parkview Whitley Hospital for her injuries.
Rentschler was not injured.
The Indiana Department of Transportation has made it easy to check road conditions around the state.
