PAULDING COUNTY, Ohio. (WANE) - 14 people were transported to area hospitals after a school bus and van crashed in rural Paulding County Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, around 4:30 p.m. a school bus from Hicksville Exempted Village Schools was traveling south on State Road 49 near State Road 111 just south of Antwerp.
The bus, driven by Diane Zeedyk, Hicksville, collided with a van traveling east on S.R. 111. According to the State Police, the driver of the van, Leslie Coats, Fort Wayne, failed to yield when turning left onto S.R. 49.

Coats and her six passengers were heading to Antwerp High School for a track meet. Coats and one passenger were transported by air ambulance to Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne. The other five passengers were transported to Paulding County Hospital.
The State Patrol said none of the injuries were considered life-threatening.
