TIPPECANOE, Ind. (WANE) -- Indiana Conservation Officers said speed and alcohol contributed to an ATV rollover in Tippecanoe, Indiana that caused a man to be thrown from the vehicle and suffer head trauma.
According to the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, the crash happened just before 10 p.m. Saturday at 2485 18th Rd.
Clint R Beldon, 40, was taken to Memorial Hospital in South Bend suffering head trauma, several abrasions and lacerations to his body.
Indiana Conservation Officers remind the public to always wear a helmet and to not drink and operate off-road vehicles.
The Indiana Department of Transportation has made it easy to check road conditions around the state.
