Man crashes scooter, hospitalized

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Fort Wayne police are investigating a crash involving a scooter late Tuesday night.
A few minutes before midnight, police responded to a crash at the intersection of Sherman Boulevard and Spring Street.
Police found a man lying on the ground next to a scooter. Investigators believe the man misjudged a scooter and crashed. No other vehicles were involved.
The man was transported to the hospital in serious condition.
Police have not said if alcohol was a factor in the crash.
The incident remains under investigation.
