Icy conditions Wednesday morning were to blame for numerous wrecks in northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio.

Dispatchers in Huntington County said there were three separate crashes on U.S. 24 near 1100 North just before 8 a.m.

Some of the people involved in the crashes were injured, however none were life threatening.

There were also multiple wrecks on I-469 and I-69 in Allen County.  Other counties also reported multiple accidents because of icy conditions.
