FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) Northbound traffic on I-69 at mile marker 305 near Illinois Road was down to one lane for several hours on Tuesday as crews worked to clear the scene of a two-vehicle accident.
According to police, there was an accident between a semi and a red Jeep around 2:30 p.m. Police are still working to determine how the accident happened.
There was a small fire in the Jeep and the driver suffered minor injuries. The semi driver was not injured.
Two of the three northbound lanes were closed while crews worked to clear the scene. The remaining lane opened to traffic moved very slowly.
The Indiana Department of Transportation has made it easy to check road conditions around the state.
