KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) - A head-on crash on State Road 15 left two people injured Friday morning.
Police said Jennifer Gholson, 41, of Warsaw, was driving southbound on State Road 15 at around 11:45 a.m. when she crossed the centerline and hit a northbound truck, driven by Sam Crace, 41, of Roann.
According to the police report, Gholson and Crace had to be extricated from their vehicles. Both drivers were airlifted from the scene and transported to Parkview Regional Medical Center.
Police said Crace suffered extensive lower extremity injuries and Gholson had serious internal injuries.
Kosciusko County F.A.C.T. team members said it is unclear why Gholson crossed the centerline.
Officers said the crash is still under investigation pending blood results.
The Indiana Department of Transportation has made it easy to check road conditions around the state.
