Driver injured after hitting tree

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) A driver heading south hit a tree in the 1200-block of Lower Huntington Road around 1 p.m. on Wednesday.
FWPD spokesperson Sergeant Mark Brooks said the driver suffered injuries and was taken to a hospital. The extent of the injuries and the driver's current condition are not known.
