FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Fort Wayne police said an SUV ended up on its top after the driver reached for a cell phone and hit a tree.
It happened around 10:00 Wednesday night in the 4100 block of Harris Meadow Court.
According to police, the driver dropped his cell phone as he was backing out of his driveway. As he reached for the phone, he accidentally hit the gas. The SUV hit a tree and flipped upside down.
The driver was not hurt and was able to get out of the vehicle on his own.
