FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Fort Wayne police are investigating a crash on Third Street early Thursday morning.

Around 4 a.m., police were called to the 1900 block of Third Street for a vehicle accident. When police arrived, they found one car smashed into the back of a another car parked along the curb on Third Street, near Tyler Avenue.

The vehicle initially struck a parked car on the corner of the street, bending the left-rear tire completely sideways. Scrape marks were also visible down the driver's side of the car.

The driver then continued forward approximately 100 feet and struck the rear of a second parked vehicle, pushing that vehicle into another parked car.

In all, four vehicles sustained damage from the crash.

The driver refused all medical treatment, no other injuries were reported.

The driver was handcuffed by police and placed into a police car. It's not known if the man will face any charges.
